OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are all set to make their debut today. The Chinese smartphone maker is hosting press events in three cities around the world – Bengaluru, London, and New York – to unveil the new OnePlus smartphones. The OnePlus launch event will begin at 8:30pm IST (4pm BST, 11am EDT) today and will be streamed live by the company on YouTube. While there have been plenty of leaks and official teasers for the OnePlus 7 Pro, there are limited confirmed details about the OnePlus 7 smartphone. In addition to the two new OnePlus phones, the company is also expected to unveil the OnePlus 5G phone, new Bullets Wireless 2 headphones, and Warp Charge 30 car charger.

If you want to follow along with us as the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are announced, we will be sharing live updates right here from the OnePlus Bengaluru launch event as it unfolds. You can also watch the OnePlus event live stream below.

OnePlus 7 specifications (expected)

OnePlus 7 is believed to be the direct successor to last year’s OnePlus 6T smartphone. It is rumoured to be featuring a design very similar to the OnePlus 6T and will also come with almost same specifications with limited number of upgrades. OnePlus 7 is expected to come with a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot.

Additionally, the upcoming OnePlus phone is reportedly coming with a dual camera setup on the back, which will house a 48-megapixel shooter and 5-megapixel secondary camera. Among other specifications, the phone is likely to pack a 3,700mAh battery, in-display fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-SIM support, and Android 9 Pie.

OnePlus 7 Pro specifications (expected)

OnePlus 7 Pro has been leaked and teased thoroughly in the run up to today’s announcement and we know pretty much everything about the phone. The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to be the company’s true flagship model for this year. The phone is reportedly coming with 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440×3120 pixels) display with HDR 10+, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage with UFS 3.0 support.

The phone will also have a triple rear camera setup, which will house a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel third sensor. There is also likely to be a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera on the front. Other specifications of the phone are rumoured to include 4,000mAh battery, in-display fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE support, and Android 9 Pie.

OnePlus 5G phone

In addition to the above two phones, OnePlus is also likely to introduce its first 5G smartphone at today’s event. The phone is expected to be exactly same as OnePlus 7 Pro, except for the added 5G connectivity. With this launch, OnePlus will join the growing the list of the smartphone makers offering 5G smartphones in the world. Just recently LG had launched its first 5G phone in South Korea, making it the third smartphone maker to commercially release a 5G phone.

OnePlus Bullet Wireless 2 headphones, Warp Charge 30 car charger

Alongside the three new OnePlus phones, the Chinese smartphone will be talking about its new Bullets Wireless 2 headphones and Warp Charge 30 car charger accessories at the event. We don’t have any specifics about the devices, but what we do know is Bullets Wireless 2 headphones seem to be a successor to the company’s earlier launched Bullets Wireless headphones, and the Warp Charge 30 car charger is said to be incorporating the Warp Charge 30 technology that OnePlus had introduced with the McLaren Edition OnePlus 6T last year. Warp Charge 30 allows for up to 30W fast charging.
